Grace is one of the mysteries of the Kingdom of God that is least understood and often misused today. Grace is the divine assistance we need to get everything done in life. Grace has been misused and the abuse of grace brings nothing but shame, dishonor and death. When the grace of salvation is misused; salvation will be eventually lost and the sinner will pay for their own iniquities with their blood. Many people refuse to repent from their sinful ways and keep asking for grace.

A person living under grace finds helps in times of need. Such person find help just right in time. While others are stuck, a person living under grace find receive divine assistance from the Lord.

The Lord wants His people to understand more on the subject of grace; so they can ask and receive grace from Him.

Grace At Salvation

The only grace available for a sinner is the grace to receive salvation; just as the only prayer of a sinner that is answered is the prayer of repentance. After getting saved; there is general grace available for every new believer. “For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God - Ephesians 2:8.
General Grace is the grace that is available and obtained at the time of salvation. Grace is a form of gift. You can give a gift to someone, and they collect it and never use it. And you can give a gift to another person and they make really good of use. Same can be said about the grace of God. At the time of salvation, the General Grace is given to the new believer. It is the grace that covers the former sins. The grace that places the new believer in a place of safety and exemption from the repayment of sins.

Deeper Grace Beyond Salvation

Deeper grace is found and obtained through worship. It is not available to those whose hearts are far from the Lord. It is only available to those who stay steady in the presence of God. All the vacuum I’m the life of the believer is not automatically filled at the time of receiving salvation under the general grace. This is where the specific grace is needed. The specific grace is also called the grace of life. The grace of life is the specific grace needed to fulfill specific assignments in life. Grace for wisdom, grace for parenting, grace for leadership comes under specific grace. The grace of specificity comes after we accept and have proven to be good stewards of the general grace. The specific grace is obtained by those who are able to go into the presence of the Father: “et us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need” - Hebrews 4:16.

Why We need Grace

Grace is the legal tender you need to sail through life successfully. We need grace when we go out, we need grace when we come in, we need grace in academics, we need grace in career, we need grace in friendships, we need grace in marriage, we need grace everywhere! The blood of Jesus purchased for us grace and mercy; so we dont need to live a graceless life. A graceless life is a shameful life, a graceless life is a life of defeat. It is a life of continuous loss. It is a life without honor. Why should God’s people live gracelessly when the Lord has abundance of grace and mercy available?

Increasing in Grace

Grace is given in measure. Now to each one of us grace has been given according to the measure of the gift of Christ. Ephesians 4:7. Some have multiple portions of grace released unto them because God is pleased with them. They are those who has been found to be living in humility. “But He gives more grace. Therefore He says: “God resists the proud, But gives grace to the humble-James 4:6. This verse tells us that grace can be obtained in measures. It means some have more grace than the other. We see this at play when two people of similar competencies bid for a project and for no reason one is picked over the other. That might be an instance of divine grace. The Scripture records one of the way for an increase in grace is the way of humility.

Decreasing  in Grace

People can decrease in grace. When a person continues in sin and refuse to turn away from their wicked ways; they deplete their portion of grace. As hard-hearted people increase in sin so do they get near to the threshold where grace is eventually taken away from them.

are continue to remain hardened and hey get to a threshold where the spirit of grace decreases and is eventually taken away from them. Over and over again, they treat with disdain the blood of Jesus and trample upon grace. The moment a person passes the threshold of grass; no intercessor, no servant of God is able to intercede for them.

The Only Way to Find Grace

Grace abides in the presence of God. Grace will not always be delivered to us as a gift. It gets to a point where we must go in search of grace. Where is the abode of grace? The presence of the Lord. Not many ways lead to God’s presence; if there were, the true word of God would not be scarce as it is now. The only way into the Father’s presence is in worship; That’s why even though many people claim to live under grace; but it is evident they are not. Only those who go to the Father in holiness, humility and contriteness of heart will be able to access his presence and receive the grace needed for life.

Will you walk deeper into His grace available at His presence? Staying outside His presence is too costly. We pray for the grace for you to enter into deeper grace - In Jesus Name.
